WOOL~  I love painting this design!  It looks wonderful painted on the top of a basket, or maybe paint it for a table mat!  Happy Painting!    Today I am working on instructions and patterns for my new book!  Lots of work to do, but getting there!

I just love to paint on fabric!  This little journal was a lot of fun and so easy to make!  I found this journal at Wal Mart a couple of years ago.  I have also found the journals at the dollar store.  Cut a piece of fabric to fit your journal.  Then, use Elmers glue, watered down just a little and then brush the glue on to the journal and place the fabric over it.  Smooth it down and let it dry, checking it often and smoothing the fabric so that you don't have any lumps.  After it dries, pick a fun pattern to paint on to the cover.  I like to cut our my pieces of the pattern and then use a piece of chalk to outline the design.  Now you can start painting!  When you are finished, Take a strip of a different fabric and open the journal and tie the strip through the center and then tie on the outside adding a little bunch of dried flowers!  What a special and fun project this is.  This makes a really special piece to place on a table, maybe with your favorite little lamp or this makes a wonderful gift for a friend or family!  I hope that you have a wonderful day and thank you for visiting my blog!

It is a rainy day today and perfect for working on my new book.  "A New Day & A Little Whimsy"  I'm excited to finish it.  I have all the projects finished and now working on instructions and patterns for the expected May release.  This is a photo of a project that my daughter created using my Prim Bunny Breadboard pattern packet!  I have always love this piece!  Happy Painting!

This little bunny is ready for Easter!   Toting her large painted egg and little Peep!  This was such a fun painting!  I added lots and lots of Sparkle to her!  I hope that you have a wonderful day today.  The weather today, is going to be warm and I still have so much painting to do.  I have made some progress though.  My deadline for the book is next week so I am really working fast!

 

 

Today, still painting away!!! So much to paint and not much time, before my deadline for my newest book" Terrye French Designs, A New Day & A Little Whimsy.... This is the title! I am trying to add new fresh things and of course a little whimsy that will fill this book. Also this book will be larger than my other books. I think the hardest part of painting now is I want to paint for spring, but I have to get into the fall and Christmas mood also! Sheep and Salt box houses coasters... This was a fun project.  Just cut out the shapes that you like and paint on to pieces of linoleum.  I found this floor covering at the dollar store.  I painted on the underneath side of the floor covering and used the shiny side for the bottom.  This is a really inexpensive way to make coasters.  Then I sealed them with Deco Art Matte sealer finisher.  I hope that you have a great day! 

It was a wonderful weekend!  I took a few days and enjoyed it so much!  Now time to start working on my book again!   I am anxious to finish up the projects that I have started!   A fun weekend of trying some foods, that I haven't had,  Chocolate waffles for breakfast and fried avocado slices for a snack!  It was a wonderful weekend!

Jody Stacy sent me this sweet little sheep stamp.  I needed a new journal to keep painting tips in and schedules and important dates!  This was such an easy project !  I painted the center of the journal and also the tags and then stamped the design and painted a little here and there.  I also added some glitter to the cover of the journal and the tags.  The butterfly stamp also came from Treasured Times!  If I want to give a gift or make something in a hurry, I always grab a stamp and add a little paint and the project is finished in no time!  Thank you so much Jody for making wonderful stamps!   http://www.treasuredtimesrubberstamps.com/

Wee Bluebird!  I have always enjoyed painting this sweet Spring design.  I have painted it on an old long box.  A sewing drawer is a perfect surface for this project.  I love going to garage sales at this time of the year.  I have picked up several of the drawers.   This project is perfect for displaying an old book and a little bundle of my favorite dried flowers, sweet annie and sunflowers!  I hope you have a fun day of painting soon!

Think Spring!

I'm thinking spring and I can hardly wait to see mother nature's painted picture!  So many little details in color!  The warm weather and the smell of fresh dirt being prepared for planting the miraculous seeds!  I love all the seasons and I am always amazed at how have such a variety of so many things to enjoy!  Thank you dear Lord for every day!

I just love to paint bunny desiGns!  This was an extra fun piece to paint!  I l0ve the primitive lo0k.  I cut out all the pieces from 3/4" pine and then wired it all together and I did a lot of sanding also.  I hope that you have a fun day of paintinG!

I finally finished an item for ebay!  I have paintedd this shabbby vinttage woood canisster set! I have paintedd many extrass on this one and it was fun getting to paiint the pinkss and redss.  I tried to stayy with the strawberrry themme and also have a litttle bluee housse in each dessign alongg with a little limme greeen trree and a sweeet bit of  piink!

Good Morning!  It is going to be a rainy day and a perfect day to be painting!  I painted this about a year ago and sold it on ebay.  I lovee to paint something over that I have painted.  There are not very many pieces that I have painted twice, but when I do it is so enjoyable.  I think it always seems to turn out way better the second time.  I like adding what I missed the first time.  I think I will paint this over today!  I'm not sure of the surface, but I lovee the texture that this one has.  I'm trying to remember what I used to make the deep scratches in the wood.  I lovee that look!  I'm going to have another cup of coffee and start painting.  I hope that you have a wonderful day and.... This is a fun springg projecct and easy to do! The surface is ceramicc tilles.  I used the angell stammps from:   http://www.treasuredt.blogspot.com/   Then I stamped them and painted the designs!  When I was finished I sealed them and then put a rubbber backing on them.  This would be a greatt giftt or to keeep for yourself!
